A Chemical Free Way to Get Carpet Stains Out
Hi Sharon, Here's a link that may help: https://www.thisoldhouse.com/how-to/how-to-remove-every-type-carpet-stain
Good luck!
I usually spread some baking soda over the stain to lift it, and then scrub it out with some dish soap and warm water.
Peroxide with a few drops of Dawn, works on the white carpet, in my bathroom and the light grey, in my family room.
Mix 1 part ammonia and 3 parts water. Get your clothes iron hot. Spray spot with mixture then put a dry clean cloth over stain and iron it! Cloth will soak up stain.
Cover stain with baking soda, sprinkle with peroxide, work into the carpet with your fingers, wearing gloves. Let dry & vacuum.
