If you’re looking for a unique gift idea for couples this darling carved sweetheart branch is perfect and inexpensive. We have a wood burnt/dremel version on our site if you want to see that one. The one below is the easier one.
Here is what you need. (Brown marker only) The exact saw and chisel set show the link to where I got them on the supply list. That exact saw is awesome. I use it a lot in crafting.
Mark your branch where you want it cut. Make sure the bottom is cut straight so it stands.
Draw a heart on with the brown marker wherever you would like it.
Taking the chisel tool shown chisel out the center. Its easy!
Taking the chisel tool shown smooth out the center as much as you can.
Outline the heart edge in brown to give it a wood burned look.
Add the initials and outside lines.
