Live in the Desert so Whites and Neutral colors are all over the place, wanted different. Always looking for a better price and had never tryed Walmarts "Home Place" brand. Well there it was a 5 gal bucket in opps of "Salsa Red". Clerk said made by Glitten but probably PPG, as researched. Went on nice and thick, yah only 1 coat needed. Usually use Behr. Trim will be a Sand or Taupe. Anyway, I like it along with white part of My disjointed house and that's who we have to please on Our house colors choices.

Yes, some Color Place is made by Glidden, some by other mfg., depending on the area. I love WM Color Place!

I saw a reddish called Caliente but can't remember the brand. But why would you want a trendy color and not your favorite color? At any rate each brand comes out with their own so just Google the different brands of paint also Panton or could be pantone puts out the color of the year that some people live by.

Every year Pantone holds a color conference and selects new color that pretty much anything manufactured will show up in from fashion, to home fashions and paint. From there the various paint companies come out with their shades, and the decor magazines put out their ideas for the year.
