when people give me home made soap, I sometimes use the bars in dresser drawers or closets to give them a nice fragrance until I want to use them at the sink
I grate them up, melt them down and use them to make hand soap and laundry soap!
I put one in a knee high nylon and tie it to the outside faucet for handwashing after working in the flower bed/garden. Also rub a fresh one on wooden slides on drawer bottom for an easy slide or in slides of older wooden windows.
I made a small cloth bag and put a bar of soap in it. I used this to stick the diaper pins in as I changed diapers. This kept the pins in a safe place and kept them sliding through the cloth easier. Oh wait, nobody uses cloth diapers with pins these days. I suppose you could use this for straight pins used when sewing. Ask Question
