How to muffle sound at night from noise nearby

I live near an entertainment district and the noise (music) keeps me awake on the weekends. The outside wall is all glass and I need to put something up to block the pounding noise. Any suggestions?

Hi Dorothy. Are you able to hang curtains? You can purchase heavy duty black out curtains that keep the noise out. I wish you luck!

Got a memory foam topper? Don’t like sleeping on it? Makes a great muffler for the traffic out my window.

Double pane windows will help a lot. The pounding is the worst and in some people it can affect the heart.

Get a "white noise" machine. I got mine from Best Buy. You can also use a humidifier or dehumidifier, depending on the time of year. I have also heard of apps that play white noise. Hope one of these helps!
