This is a table I bought from a resale shop, and I seen potential there. I really love furniture, and love to make it look beautifuL. So I bought the supplies and got started.
This is what the table looked like when I bought it. It's old looking and it screams potential. It's a heavy duty little table, just need a little attention. So I sanded all the old beat up finish off of the whole table, down to the bare wood.
This is the table all taken apart and displayed with the supplies l used. It took a bit of muscle to sand all the old stain and sealer off. I had to sand it all by hand, it's been so cold. And working in the garage with a sander in the winter with the door close, is out of the question.
This is a bunch of the table pieces sanded down to the bar wood. Still a bunch more work ahead to get it finished. I did almost all the work on this table in my basement. That makes it quit difficult, the mess, the smell of the finish and stain don't like to dry in cool conditions. So this was a proble, took quit a bit longer then if it was warm, and could work in the garage. But I got it done. I wanted to give it some flare, so I stained the top in a deep cherry color. The main part of the legs are a cream tanish color, and the little space at the base of the leg is the cherry stain. Sealed with rub on Minwax.

Love the colors! Can you please post the actual colors? It's Behr stain? Also, I admire your dedication in doing this in winter. It's been too cold and wet for me to try painting or staining outside. I've been considering the attic...
