Stamped concrete patio help

I have an elevated stamped concrete patio that is crumbling in spots & breaking away from the railing posts. Any ideas how to save it without replacing it?

You would think there would be a liquid you could pour on and it would set up stabilizing and preserving. Not from what I can find. Perhaps that kind of material would cause more problems by not allowing the concrete to breathe.

Hi Nancy, often when concrete starts crumbling it is because the base it is sitting on is no longer supporting it fully. is it possible that that is why yours is starting to break a part?

Thank you for answering! Just the surface is "spalling". It's Colorado, so I think it's just the cold. The structure is sound except for around the posts where it is pulling away & starting to break off. Not sure what to do.

Just use a latex modified concrete patching compound. Taper the patch around the railings so water runs off and doesn't sit there. Stamped concrete needs to be resealed every 2 to four years.

Thank you so much. I will do that. Any suggestions on what to do with the sections that have already broken away?

Best solution for the sections that have broke away is to remove them and pour fresh concrete.

Thank you again. Bearing this information in mind, I will see if I can find someone who could fix the broken sections for me & I can reseal it myself.
