I had a couple of older dark wood frames I was not using and no longer liked. So I matched the paint to the framed pictures I had. Painted the dark wood with a cream colored paint. After the paint dried I sanded the wood to look like the frames I had. So just a little of the dark wood could be seen.
Picture frame to hold photos
Once I was happy with the paint and sanding, I added colored thin rope using tiny eye hooks. Then attached pretty colored tiny cloths clips. Then I selected the photo I would hang up. I'm very happy with the final project. What do you think? My cost about $3-4 dollars. Store bought similar photo holder are about $35-$40 each.
Framed wire photo holder
I picked the wired oval frame up for $10.00. It was on sale due to chipped paint. That did not matter to me because I planned to dry brush a grey paint over the frame. I use this to hold Doctor and hair appointment cards.
