Shabby Sweet Hanging Planter

Using a few simple supplies I had on hand, I changed this cute, inexpensive hanging plant from The Home Depot to sweet and shabby chic! This project is very simple and takes only minutes to complete!

BEFORE - I found this sweet little succulent plant at Home Depot. I loved the plant but not the pot.
Remove the plastic hangers. These are typically just clipped onto the side of the pot and can be pulled off quite easily.
Gather supplies: Burlap scrap piece (the one used here was a 12 inch square) , Twine, Sisal Rope, Small Grapevine Wreath and Scissors. The grapevine wreath I used is about 8 in. round.
After cutting burlap to the size needed, gather it around the pot and tightly wrap the twine to hold it in place. Next, cut 3 equal pieces of sisal rope and knot them in 3 spots (in a sort of triangular shape) attaching to the grapevine wreath. Pull the 3 rope pieces together and knot them at the top as well, leaving space for the plant to hang evenly inside.
* Don't forget to loop one of your three ends into the know to allow a hoop to hang *
AFTER - From plain plastic to sweetly shabby chic in minutes!
