Fairy Garden in Papercrete Planter
Papercrete is clean and easy to work with and can be used to make planters of many different sizes and shapes using common household items for molds.
Dollar store scalloped edge slad bowl mold.
Look how clean my hands are compared to what they would like doing hypertufa!

You can do this indoors! Just scoop papercrete mixture into the mold of your choice and shape it and pat it to compact it. Look! No gloves!
A papercrete house by Lee Coates
Shape, mold, saw, drill, glue....very versatile. And I've also experimented with a two part mold...a one piece mold for the house and one piece mold for the roof.

Can you use this outdoors unsealed? If not what would you suggest sealing with?

Hi . You do not BUY papercrete. You make it... with old newspaper - Portland cement - water and some optional ingredients such vermiculite, perlite , sand, shell or combinations there of ... see by home blog site thefairygarden.ca for the basics. Marthe
