How to repair a plastered wall

i have plastered walls. some parts are rough and have some cracks. i need some easy ideas besides plaster and sand again.

    If you don’t want to maintain the plaster, you could cover the walls with paneling. Or apply stucco, which will be even rougher. If you want to use chalk paint without sanding, you still need to repair any holes and cracks. The same for thick wallpaper, shiplap, or board and batten. Best wishes ☺️

    Paper with good quality lining paper. This will cover any imperfections

    Surprise! I too had lathe/plaster walls with cracks like crazy (especially after we replaced the main floor beam in the basement) Used Dex putty 1st..then used AMAZING Ralph Lauren sand paint. So worth the price as the texture HID EVERYTHING!!!
