There are over 300 varieties of Hostas in colours and textures and sizes that would blow your mind. I LOVE MY HOSTAS....trouble free. Of course geraniums and impatients off great colour as well.

Love your backyard! How about hellebores? My friend had a bunch in his yard and gave me some. I planted 2 yrs ago in the shade and it's slowly doubling its growth. I like the flowers too!

Better Homes and Gardens put out a book called Step By Step Shade Gardens. It has 31 pages of colored pictures of shrubs and plants shade for areas. It also has plans for different shade gardens. Love that book with all my shade!!
