How do I get stubborn stains out of an old toilet bowl

    Pour Coca-Cola in bowl & leave overnight. Removes rust & ugly stains.

    Hi Red,

    I use baking soda, scrub it in, let it sit then use vinegar. Let that sit a while, as well. You can empty most of the bowl by just pushing the water down the exit hole with a brush. That will make the cleaner more concentrated and help you get at the stain better. Also, you might try cleaning your tank on a regular basis. That might help too. Wishing you be best.

    I am going to try the coke idea...I clean my toilet every day and still on the bottom it is dark no matter how much I scrub , even use bleach with no luck. WIll try the soda idea !

    pumice stone Is what i use to clear all my toilets , no chemicals to deal with, just rub the stain with the stone ,toilet looks like new

    Turn the water off at your toilet base then flush to empty your bowl. Then try baking soda and vinegar followed by some wd40. Once the rust is gone, wipe out the wd40 and clean with dish detergent
