Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?

That sounds beautiful. I would use Unicorn SPiT paint. After all the paint has dried, tape off the mirror part. Spray the painted part with oil-based sealer and let that dry. You can dust the whole mirror with a barely damp cloth or duster. PLEASE take pictures of you doing the work (at least four) and POST it on Hometalk.com. ☺️
It seems you are doing a perfect job! I would leave the windows without paint, and for the sea waves you could use a pearl paint or paint the waves the color you want, then go over them with a white pearl nail polish. Send us a picture when you finish!
you will need glass paint
Acrylic enamel paints are good for glass. I've also seen some beautiful glass paint jobs using Unicorn SPiT.
