Boil a cup of water with a little white vinegar mixed in it, and also thoroughly wash the interior with it when you mix it up. Should solve the problem.
Like burnt popcorn? Microwave 1/2 cup of vinegar for a minute or two, then let it stay in the microwave for a couple of hours. Remove the vinegar and put in a box or cup of baking soda and leave it for 1-3 Days. The vinegar can be used to clean other things, and the baking soda can be put in a drawer of the refrigerator. ☺️
