We had one nailed up beside front door. Still there when we left. Of course if it's a rental you could use a command hook. I've seen some outdoor thermometers that can be hung on outside of window so you can read it from inside. One type has just a bulb on the end where you raise the window enough to pass wire through and then close. Main unit stays inside where you can check temp.
what are you trying to hang it on?
I got mine hanging on a finishing nail
Any nail that when pounded in will support the thermometers weight.
We use metal ones or a galvanized nail.
Thanks Linda
I like white paneling nails for just about everything, outside I use SS screws.
