You could use a bamboo type roller curtain hung high on the wall. You could slip wall plant hangers through them and attach them to the wall and the part where the attach won't show. You can get a strip light that you could hang above the plants. If they don't need real bright light, you could go with a strip light that has a daylight bulb in it. It still has the whole spectrum of light as the grow lights do, but not as bright and intense. They also cost less to run.
