Hi. I'm not sure what tempera is used for. I've only worked with acrylic paints. I do a lot of wood projects, so acrylics work the best for me. However I want to try something new for gifts, like painting coffee mugs, wine glasses and even mirrors.
Thank you Kim. I do paint, but mostly on wood. I do birdhouses, jewelry boxes and furniture. I work with acrylic paint, and it works great on what I paint, however it doesn't work on glass. I thought it would be fun to paint coffee mugs and wine glasses for my friends, and for me too. So I'm going to take your advice, and go to Michael's to see what they have for glass paint.

There is paint specifically for glass. You can find it in an art store or online.
