Hard to visualize the room, do you have a picture?

Without seeing your room or a sketch of it, it is difficult to say, but under a window can look very nice as the window drapes frame the bed................

  • How big is the room? My master bedroom is like that and I love to wake up and look out the window at the sky, trees and birds. So I set the bed up so I had full view out the window. If that is not a concern, you can block the window with the bed, but try and make it centered on the window so it does not look awkward.

Hello — without seeing a picture of the room, I can only speculate; however, I have seen rooms with a window as a focal point upon entering the room and the bed was put kitty corner in the corner to the right of the window with the foot of the bed facing the entryway. And that did work very well and look very nice.

My bed is in front of a pair of windows. However I do have another window that is in a direct line with my bed. BUT this window is also in a direct line with a street the terminates a house lot away. So while I enjoy this window (like right now) I could not look at it from my bed without also being looked at by the street! p.s. I love this street. . .it is on a slight rise so I get a good view of people walking dogs & pushing strollers, kids on bikes and skate boards (and sometimes skis) mine is a very walking neighborhood as I guess most are!

This window is a street view window. There's another smaller window on the outside wall, but that wall also has a built out closet on it too.
