The surround is discolored, UGLY, dirty, funky, & yucky ..... I used ajax & bleach... & scrubbed the heck out of it... it's still all of the above... Even tried vinegar & baking soda... same thing... I sprayed it down & let it set with peroxide on it.. NOTHING... so I was wondering what I can clean it with....it was at one point...white...idk if it will ever be white again.... without being replaced...I can't afford that & I don't know how to do it myself...
Shower surrounds are inexpensive, quick and relatively easy to install. They are however ugly, tacky and I hate them! With a little bit of elbow grease and only a few more dollars one can make their bathtub/slower look like it was custom built. Use your imagination and be brave. Google and UTube are your friends.
I think if I can't get it clean I'm going to have to replace it.. I just have NO MONEY at all to spare.. I was hoping to be able to get another year or two out of it... but I just bought this house & the bathroom disgusts me !!! The surround is why... I'll figure a way to get what I want... thanks.. I youtube everything LOL

I've used lemon halves. Does a really good job! I heard that alcohol does the trick as well. Haven't tried it yet though. (need to)!
