Our kit table has a couple of spots where a hot dish left its marks

Our table top is wood, with a nice finish on it, however there are a couple of places where it is milky and smokey looking now from a hot casserole dish or
something that was set directly on the table....(not giving out my husband's name) :( Is there a quick fix? Thank you!

I rub mayonnaise on it. Then rinse off and dry. It might take a couple time if the mark is really white.
I had a similar thing happen to my DR table; read somewhere to mix cigarette/cigar ashes with mayonnaise and let it sit; then wipe it off and buff it out. Will tell you that it helped but was not perfect.
I've heard of Restore a Finish. Never tried it but I've heard its good.
