Is it a ladder? Not sure what the question is...sorry.

quilt blanket or throw rack for the living room or bedroom
Hanger for pots and pans in kitchen from ceiling with rope or chains.
You could use it in your bathroom to hang towels. You could also hang baskets using S hooks to hold more bath products.
OK OK - Are you going to tell us what that God awful thing is/was? It could have been part of a bed, a stair railing, a chair or who knows. It also looks as though it may be better suited for the burn pile. Not everything is due another life.
This is where the real creative people can step up.
(1) start by cutting the item in half at a 30°(ish) angle.
(2) Sand and paint to resemble strudel rods.
(3) Mount 2 brackets per pc. In kitchen, perhaps over a window...attach the item to the brackets to form a frame.
(4) Attach a curtain or material of you choice to form the canopy.
(5) Like an outside Italian beastro place your table and chairs underneath.
