I live in PA in zone 5 and I just planted two flats of peppers over the weekend but I have a greenhouse to transfer them to when the time comes. I would say the first of March would be perfect for you, depending on what zone you are in.🙋

Depends on your weather zone. Some zones you are already late. But tomorrow would most likely be good. You can give your seeds a fast start by soaking overnight in a solution of 3 or 4 parts water to 1 part hydrogen peroxide and then plant in shallow trays for germination. Cuts germination time is less than 1/2 in some cases. The hydrogen peroxide also gills certain bacteria/fungus on the seeds that sometimes cause the seeds to rot rather than not germinate. Google it.

Colder area than where I am in Calif. But when I lived in Wyoming I used to start my seeds by end of February otherwise they peppers didn't produce in time to see good crop before Sept 4-10 and frost. Also in last post I see my fat fingers wrote gills instead of kills bacteria. Oh well!

Usually 4-8 weeks before you can plant in your region.
