I've tried almost everything and the stain is still there. Is there a paint I can use on porcelain? The stain is only around the drain and the rest of the sink is fine.
I've tried baking soda, vinegar, peroxide, bleach, CLR & other products. Help!!!

this may sound crazy, but I have a terrible lime problem in my area and have tons of problems with my tub. I was out of scrubby stuff one day, and squirted some lysol blue toilet bowl cleaner in the tub- OMG! it is the one thing I have found that breaks down the lime- It seems to wear away at the edges in- so it took a number of applications for me, but it works better than any lime product I had tried.

I read somewhere that toilet bowl cleaner might work. I have been hesitant to use something that strong, but think I will give it a try.

If it worked for you, it might work for me -- even if I have to apply it a few times. Thanks.

Have you tried Barkeepers Friend? It is a cleanser and polished. It truly works.

Tried 2 different kinds of Bar Keepers Friend and they lightened up the stain a little, but didn't do good enough. The guy at Home Depot says he swears by it and uses it on everything. It just didn't do a good enough job for me. Thanks anyway.

If the finish has worn off the sink, then the water stain is embedded in the poures under layment. I do think there are porcelain paints you could redo the sink with. Also, there are businesses that do it, and the work makes the sink or tub look brand new.
