House was for brick base

I will be moving into my new home next month and once it warms up I would like to wash the brick base of the house from dirt and debris from the gardens around the house. Was told not to use a power washer so is there a cleaner I can use that runs through the hose to gently wash it? Thanks to all once again!

We use Krud Kutter .. we buy from Lowe's...safe for plants! But, we also use our pressure washer.
DO NOT power wash! You can safely use any non acid wash solution with a hose dispenser or a squirt bottle or pump up sprayer. Use a scrub brush and hose off. If it has mold or mildew on it, personally I’d use a 50:50 bleach solution the scrub clean and rinse. Wait for it to dry really good then seal it with a concrete sealer. It will prevent it for coming back as well as help the brick maintain its purpose longer.
