I would get a carpet shampooer with an upholstry tool, and some commercial shampoo. Clean it good, then you can dye it with Rit Dye. Take off what ever cushion covers you can, and dye them in a tub/bucket in hot water and the dye. Rit makes 2 dyes, one for natural fabrics, one for synthetics (DyeMore). You can only dye something brighter or darker, you can't lighten with dye. http://www.naptimediy.com/2014/02/dyewingbackchair/

Fabric paint... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP-5DS_fbaE
There is such a thing as fabric spray paint. I don't know how well it works though. Here's option A. Get a fabric dye thats suitable for synthetic fabric. 2 good ones are Rit Dye More, ( at Hobby Lobby) and I Dye ( it used to be at Jo Ann's). Mix it up,with hot water, add a 1/4 cup of white vinegar. How much dye depends on how dark you want color. Put in spray bottle. Test out a spot on the underside,or some other place you can't see. If you need to add more- dye or more water, this is when you do it. Test again. If it's good then go. The others would be to get some Plaid textile medium . It's at Hobby Lobby, in 4-8 ounce bottles. In the wearable's department. Also get acrylic craft paint ( the kind usually in 2 ounce bottles ) they have large bottles of the acrylic paint. Mix 1 parteous textile medium, to 2 parts paint. You can either paint on with foam brush, or add water, and put in spray bottle. Again test a spot first.
Rit has a color remover, it's in a powder form. Follow directions on mixing, and Test on unseen area. Then proceed with 1 of the 2 methods, I outlined before.
The fabric spray paint I've encountered( thru customers ) before, has left the fabric stiff. Which is why, I didn'trecommend it.
