I am working on a project & want a specific repeatable design that is not offered in a reusable paint stencil, but is offered in a plaster stencil. Can I use a plaster stencil as a paint stencil. I have never worked with a plaster stencil, so don’t know it it would be possible.

Yes, of course. Just make sure you mark your register marks. It sounds like you've used stencils before,so you know what register marks are. Spray the stencil with stencil adhesive, paying close attention to the open edges. The stencil will be a bit thicker than a paint stencil, so the paint can gob up,bleed under more readily. So edges are important. Take off stencil when paint is tacky.
