Are you hanging from wall? 12" Brackets would be best. Use Broom Handle..............

wrought iron brackets are certainly strong enough and what a lovely idea.

The aluminum are not strong enough.

They are cute but doesn't look stronger enough to hold a lot of clothes. Looks like they would bend. But if using use one inch rod or wooden broom handle. Good luck.

Cute idea, but the metal will not hold a lot of weight.

I tried this once to hang an artificial plant and it looked really nice.

Later, I hung a real plant (with soil in it) and the metal bent from the weight.

I would use wall mounted heavy duty plant hangers and paint them. I did this for a pot rack years ago.

I used plant hangers for my curtains. Bonus at Christmas time, I hung a garland on it as well
