These are my bathroom and closet doors. The upper design is currently roses, but I have tired of it and would like to eliminate and update the design.

The only solution is to replace the doors with something that you do like. Plenty of people, myself included, would recognize this as a timeless classic design and would love to have them. List them on Craigslist. You may be able to get your new doors for less than you will realize from sale of these.

    Use Contact or Glass Paint

I think you are asking how to eliminate the rose design on the glass. I up-cycle jewelry boxes and recently used a frosted glass spray made by Rustoleum. I sprayed both sides of the glass multiple times to get the smooth effect I wanted. It was a very easy process. Just follow the directions on the can and tape off your doors. I frosted first, then painted. You could then also paint your doors a new color to add some pizzazz to your updated doors! Hope this helps!
