Anyone have inexpensive ways to finish basement walls?

We have waterproofed our basement after some unexpected flooding. All the dry wall was removed half way up due to being wet. Now we are faced with 1000 square feet of unfinished walls. Any Ideas?

That will depend on you budget?Do you want to re-sheetrock or temporary covers for the walls
What was behind the sheet rock? concrete or framed wall? If concrete you could just paint. If you want to cover and not use sheet rock again, how about tongue and groove wood planks verticle orif you do it horizontal it will look like shiplap, stain or paint your choice of color.
