I can’t even get light weight plastic frames to a textured wall. So I am going back to small nails and thumb tacks with to little barrel shaped top. Not flat or ball shaped
The area you put the hooks on needs to be flat or it doesn't adhere properly. Perhaps sand flat just in the small area where the command hooks will be.
After sanding clean the area where the hook is to be placed with rubing alcohol. Let it dry then put adhesive and hook on. Wait 24 h b4 you hang any thing from it.
