  • You can use so many things. Materials used in a Mosaic Art: materials that can be used in a mosaic art are stones, glasses, crockery, household tiles, vitreous glass, beads, shells and other objects. In order to make your mosaic art you need to have any of the above components and make use of plywood, fiber, glue, adhesive, resin and sealant.

    Anything you want! Broken glass, pottery, China, etc. I have been collecting broken bits n pieces for 2 yes now. No definite plans for anything yet!

    We use pieces of broken pottery or dishes and thin set from the home improvement store. The pottery is prettiest if it is many colors. Sometimes I buy cheap dishes from second hand stores to break and make into mosaics.

    Lot’s of great ideas. Thanks. I want to cover these old faded Pyrex bowls. Thought I could use them pots. i like the shell, or pebble idea too. Thanks
