yes on acrylic/latex paint use a water base poly -- oil base will cause yellowing
use a non-yellowing poly acrylic
I have used it on top of craft paint on yard statutory. Works fine.
I always use at least three coats of a water based polyurethane on painted surfaces.
Are use water-based poly on top of my painted corn hole boards a good 6 to 8 coats as instuctions called for and it worked very well. No yellowing at all.
