I have already primed and am ready to do some creative painting. I'd love some suggestions.

Mark out lines for bricks and size or sizes of bricks and spacing for Mortar. I've done this myself - I did a concrete garage to look like my home at the time that was made up of old London Yellow Stocks with a Few Random Reds in it. Great fun and very satisfying....

Choose your brick pattern. Choose a color that is not bright, such as a red with a little blue, or mix white and gray. I would suggest chalk paint to get some texture. Then apply your pattern by simulating the concrete used to build with bricks, using a chalk gray paint. Then do a black, gray or beige wash (1/4 paint, 3/4 water), to add aging. Then you can drip or sprinkle some white and other colors of paint on some of the bricks. This makes it look like used brick where the wood trim or siding has been repainted a time or two. Go back and chip a few bricks’ paint and touch up with gray. Have some fun, take pictures as you go, and POST on Hometalk! ☺️

I would suggest using a sponge too, for the brick look.
