Best thing I found-- Take cotton balls-- put bleach on them and press into the dark grout areas--even sticks up the sides of the shower or tub--let sit for 1 hour and remove--totally white!!!

  • I've used vinegar and water. Takes some scrubbing but I'm not a fan of bleach. When I was done I used a grout pen to lighted and brighten it. https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2023/09/how-to-use-grout-pen-on-tile-do-they-work.html

  • Method 1: Fill a spray bottle with a mixture of one part bleach to four parts water. After 30 minutes, spray the affected area and give it a brush scrub. Wash with water, then do it again if required. Method Two: Scrub the moldy grout directly with a toothbrush and undiluted bleach, then leave it for half an hour.

    Hello, hope this helps you,

Bleach is the most effective method for removing mold from shower grout. Method One: Make a solution of one-part bleach and four-parts water, and put it in a spray bottle. Spray the affected area and scrub with a brush after 30 minutes. Rinse with water and repeat if necessary.

  • Bleach works best in the shower. Otherwise hands down, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Grab an old toothbrush, a little scrubbing and it’ll be like new again. Be sure to seal it up after.

Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Platinum . Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.

If you want to completely change the color of your grout. There is a product by Mapei called Grout Refresh. You can find it in Floor and Decor and Home Depot sells a few colors, but Amazon has many colors. It is not hard to use, just time consuming. I changed the color of my 2 bathrooms grout several years ago. It has a sealer that prevents stains, and it still looks brand new.
