If you think you have had someone in your house that has the flu, clean everything they touch or breathed on. Vinegar is your savior. It has excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties and will help kill the virus. Whether or not you catch it is up to your immune system. I have not had a flue shot in over twenty years and haven't managed to get the flu since the first time it went around in the mid seventies. If you have a good immune system, eat healthy and don't stress your self out all the time, you have a good chance of not catching it. If you need something for a really bad cough, honey and lemon helps, or get something from the doctor. They also have Tamiflu, which is an antiviral that you can take within the first forty-eight hours or so that will really help get over it faster.
