Cedar wood, rough or smooth side out for interior trim?

    I agree with Naomie. Smooth side. I can imagine catching my shirt, jacket, sweater on the rough side.

    I ABSOLUTELY AGREE with Naomie! I have rough post and beams in my house. As much as I love the look, they are very difficult...almost impossible to clean. From dust to pet hair to spider webs, they catch every fiber from every type cloth and vacuuming doesn't work either. Go with the smooth and you'll be glad you did when you start to clean!
