literal Sharpie brand ones, they have the best color selection - Sir Marks Alot and other brands are ok, but only come in four colors.
Permanent markers (Sharpie is a major brand name) and rubbing alcohol that is at least 71% concentrated.
Dry board markers can be used and they wipe off where exposed.
