Could you put the toilet in that spot and the shower where the toilet currently is?
Be careful when adding a shower to a existing wall. Your walls wherever a shower will be should have waterproof Sheetrock installed including around any windows. Windows and showers can be a problematic being if they are constantly getting wet or in high moister areas you can end up with growing mold and dry rot! So you may want to use a exterior paint if the windows frame gets wet at all or recover your window frame with plastic laminate where the water won’t hurt the laminate and be easily dried off! Keep a close eye out for mold and remove right away! Keep everything dry as possible!

Depending on your house, why not use that leadlight or look alike, and it's like contact film, this will give privacy, and light in. There are some wonderful different patterns on a site callled "wish" that have some great bird one I used in my bathroom, was easy to use and looks great. Just an alternative to a curtain. all the best 😊
