New apartment? Tiny closets? Or your new apartment didn't come with closets? Too many times we struggle with lack of storage space in small areas. We over shop or she just live in a space with limited closet space. I might be an over shopper....Don't judge... I am a diva after all icon .
Well in this tutorial I am going to show you how to create storage and closet space that is compact and portable. It is a complete wardrobe unit. You can hang your clothes, store shoes, purses makeup and look at yourself in the mirror to check out your makeup and outfit. If you like minimalist decorations, you're sure to love this tutorial on how to make a stylish clothes rack.

Outside of the box storage options
Once I cut all the pieces for the clothes rack I sanded everything down using a combination sander. It's easier to sand as much in the beginning. Once the piece is put together its a bit harder to get in the tight locations. Also, the 2x2 boards I used were a bit rough.
First I assembled the base of the wardrobe. The base will be used to store shoes, clothes that are folded and scarves.
Next, I cut the pieces for the top portion of the wardrobe. This is where I will hang clothes and where the mirror will be housed.
This wardrobe/closet has legs. Its important that the legs are stable and positioned evenly under the base of the clothes rack. If it's not level it will be very difficult to store anything on the shelves and items will roll.
Finally I attached the top portion of the clothes rack/ wardrobe.
One thing that I didn't consider when I first put the clothes rack together was how close the dowel for hanging clothes was to the top of the rack. You want to leave space to be able to put different size hangers on the clothes rack so leave adequate space from the top.
In this project I used a lot of wooden dowels.  For complete instructions and downloadable plans with cut list please refer to the full tutorial. In this project I used a lot of wooden dowels.  For complete instructions and downloadable plans with cut list please refer to the full tutorial
I love that the mirror swivels to reveal addiitonal storage

Where does a minimalist get ALL THOSE TOOLS? I would like to make one but I only have a third of those tools. Is there some where you can borrow tools or how did you do it?

My brother wants a Shemagh Scarf, I wanted to buy it, but I couldn’t find anything suitable in a shop. My best friend told me that I could buy it online because I could find more different and suitable options. So I agreed with her, and I started to search. I liked more variants, one black classic, another one brown and the last one green color. I couldn’t decide which would be the best option and I bought them all because I think that my brother will like them all. And he liked them; he looked thankful and happy for that.
