Vertical Blinds ,a change of direction?

Moving house soon ....and I wonder if vertical blinds that currently draw to one side only, can be refigured so slats spilt and draw equally to each side of a new window.
Thanks

Before putting in the effort and money, note that vertical blinds are passe' (old).

If you fid a way to do it, please let us know. Include the brand of your blind because I am sure it will not apply to all.

Here is a conversation from a few years back that seems to say if you can you will have to replace the rail to make it happen.

A couple of web sites worth looking at - https://www.blinds.com/blog/blinds-for-patio-doors-alternatives-to-vertical-blinds/

If the windows don't face a public area, I like the idea of solar shades.

Take it to a blind making shop and they can convert it.

They can use the same vertical strips.

Warning if the blinds are old then the plastic runners could be brittle and then will need replacing. If the blinds are not compatible with the blind shop you take them to then it will mean a new blind. I would not attempt to do this. I have worked in a blind shop and made blinds myself, you need c clips and spacers, so couldn't do this as need compatible components.

Look on line for blinds as this is cheaper.

I get it. Just thought it should be considered. Check out this You Tube video and reverse the process to change side opening vertical blinds to split opening. Good luck! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JELqxU3v0ik
