Should I fertilize my gardens now? What type for vegetables?

Need to apply a good, preferably, organic fertilizer to my garden. Hasn't done well in last two years and I feel that the dirt is lacking proper nutrients. thanks.

Do a soil check to see what nutrients are lacking.
