These nightstands looked firm and well conserved, but dull for a modern bedroom. So I thought: "I´ll make them shine"
As usual, I removed the varnish and sanded everything. Took out doors to work comfortably
I painted doors with metallic silver paint. Hint: when painting silver, a black coat of paint underneath is ideal to make it shiny.
I had the plan of making them black and silver. So I googled for flower images I could paint black, and found this tatoo rose to copy from. Printed and transferred drawing to the doors. And painted black!
Went on adding flowers of different sizes and facing different sides until I was satisfied with the design.
Bought a nice piece of lace with roses design and cut some
Used the lace roses as smaller flowers, but also cut leaves from the same lace. Then completed stems with pieces of ribbon and added some black beads. I used a general adhesive, transparent, to attach lace and ribbon. Here, I had to be very careful cleaning any excess out of borders as they would be visible once dry. In my country trademarks appropriate for this use are Unipox or Uhu. To attach beads I used liquid silicone.
And this is the result. They do shine!

They're beautiful, but how did you "transfer" the large roses from the paper copy?
