Foam board header over a kitchen window. How to attach to wall?

Hook and loop may hold it , picture hangers will work as well.

  Thank you, picture hangers sound good. Have had wooden valences in the past, but so much easier with the foam.

How about "L" brackets?

Try P9000 which is a contractor's glue and comes in a tube.
