How do you get rid of cat odors?

Promised a deceased relative I’d feed her cat, but all the feral cats in the area come and”go”. The smell is overwhelming.

Inside or outside?
There are commercials products--maybe bleach or white vinegar-- I don't know, but I do know the smell!!!! You may have to use some type of preventative, after you clear the odor.
Check at pet stores and speak with an associate that knows the products that they have, I am sure that you don't want anything that kills your lawn or plants if you put it in your yard.
