That is a lot of grease build up! I would use what works on grease build up on cabinet doors to begin with, it is in the photo. Work in small areas with a tooth brush and wipe with damp cloth. Repeat as necessary. Let it soak a few minutes between spraying it and wiping it, it will come up more easily. This really works if you only do a few inches at a time and soak it first. Good luck!
Try a solution of tsp and water, rinse well (you may have to do two or three cleanings to get it all if the grease is quite thick)
try baking soda mixed with white vinegar and a touch of Dawn dish soap.
Dawn dish soap, hot water, a scrubbing and elbow grease
