Forgot to plant my tulip bulbs in the fall could I still

    you could but they will not flower this year.If you want you can force them inside and plant when they are done flowering.

  • You have nothing to lose by trying! Do it as early as possible and don't expect much this year

    Put them in the freezer for a few days and then plant. Won't hurt to try.

    yes, put some in pots then when it warms up but outside

    yes, if the ground isn't frozen and you can dig a hole deep enough for them, plant them as soon as you can.

    You can also pot them for bloom this spring, put them outside in the cold (or refrigerate the bulbs for a while, google how to do this), then let the normal spring weather make them bloom. After they bloom, and the leaves turn brown, plant them in fall for next year.

    You’re good if you plant now. Once, I planted in April and got very few wimpy blooms. This year, I forgot again and left them outside unplanted. we had a few below freezing nights down in Georgia. They started sprouting so I planted them in pots 2 weeks ago and the leaves are coming out already. My black thumb is happy!
