    Off whites are your best choices. NOT bright whites. Eggshell or or semi-gloss.

    your realtor will know what colors are selling houses in the currant market. Usually neutral colors that will go with everything.

    A neutral that goes well with your flooring and cabinetry. Go to a good paint store like Dunn Edwards and they will help you select a popular color that helps sell homes....new or old ;) AND the highest gloss for walls should be eggshell or satin. NEVER semi gloss. Semi gloss is good for millwork like doors and base.
