Your water is "hard". Meaning a lot of solids. You could install a big water filtering/ softener system for the whole house, or small units under the sinks you need to filter for consumption. Depends on your budget of course.
I have very hard water....so I bought a water softener. It protects your appliances, is good for your skin when bathing, and resolves water mark issues. Yes, expensive but so is replacing water lines and appliances!
You need to get your water tested and probably install a water softener. In the meantime, you can remove the mineral deposits with vinegar.
Try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I use it to remove stains from the inside of my cups as well as my solid surface counter top and sink. It works great.
