How can I paint my laminate kitchen counters to look like granite?

My current laminate countertops are orange....yes orange. They are in very good shape and I would like to keep them to save money. I need a more update look for them.

That is what color mine were! I used a kit that was available at Home Depot and I have seen them at Lowes. It took a bit of time, but came out looking well and being durable. The kits come in solid colors as well as directions on how to make them look like marble. Good luck!
